Delivery Costs & Timing

Standard mainland UK Delivery is FREE on all orders over £250 (excluding VAT).

Orders below £250 (excluding VAT) will have a delivery charge of £9.99 (excluding VAT) to UK mainland.

Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands will cost £20 (excluding VAT) on orders below £250, and £10 (excluding VAT) on orders above £250.

Orders are dispatched by pallet or courier, depending on the scale of the order, and must be signed for.

We reliably deliver all orders within 2 to 4 working days, usually sooner, and will keep you updated on your order status via email.

    Artisan du Chocolat original sea salted caramels were invented in 2002 for Gordon Ramsay's menu at Claridge's. A sweet liquid caramel with a pinch of Noirmoutier island's grey salt, captured in a cocoa dusted shell of intense dark chocolate. The pure untreated grey salt, harvested by hand from clay marshes, holds a wealth of minerals and trace elements that enrich its taste. It is the balance of flavours - sweet, saline and mineral - and of textures - crunchy, liquid and velvety - that make these salted caramels Artisan du Chocolate's most famous creation and such a bestseller.

     

  • Ingredients
    Ingredients : Dark chocolate (cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, soya (lecithin), caramel (sugar, glucose syrup, cream (milk), butterfat (milk), sea salt), cocoa powder. Dark chocolate min 70% cocoa.
    Allergens : Cow's milk and soya. May contain traces of nuts and molluscs (from the grey salt).
  • About the Producer

    Born in Ireland in 1972, Gerard trained as a chef and pastry chef in Dublin, London and New York. Driven by a passion (and taste for) chocolate, he was frustrated that he could not give chocolate the full attention it deserved whilst working in small hot and humid kitchens. At the age of 25, he trained as a chocolatier in Belgium before returning to London and founding Artisan du chocolat in 2000.
