Loro Crisps, offers 100% vegan and gluten-free plantain crisps bursting with flavour and nutrition, all while being low in sodium, cholesterol-free, and with no trans fats; join Pepe the parrot on a flavorful journey that's both healthy and delicious!

We don’t have seasons in Colombia so our plantains and cassavas are grown all year round in the tropical fields of the Urabá region.

The Founders

Natalia and Daniela met at the University of Sheffield Enterprise Zone. Natalia had already started her first business Pura Panela, selling unrefined sugar cane from Colombia. Daniela had recently graduated having completed a Masters in entrepreneurship.

Both were born and raised in Colombia and wanted to share their favourite childhood crisps – plantain crisps – with the rest of the world.
